Coaching Track

What can I say, if you are running and training for the amount of runs I do throughout the year, you might as well coach sports! Especially sports like track and cross country.

For the last several weeks I have been taking time from my already busy life, to train and coach track at RSJ Middle School, and I have to say, I have enjoyed it immensely. Not only do I get to pass on my knowledge to middle school students, but I also get to train with them, which to me is a win-win.

I feel like I have been building a team of speedsters, and this weekend I will even be taking a small group of them to my next run; Terrain Racing in San Jose, where we will be working as a team to accomplish the obstacles and challenges as one.

Of course, I will be doing it beforehand on my own and going back again, doing it with them afterwards. It should be a fun-filled day; I cannot wait.

Additionally, for the last two weeks, since my last post, I have been training and running a ton. I have upped the amount of miles I run and weights I have been lifting, because in the end, I know that the amount of work I put into this whole endeavor will pay off and it will all be worth it.

Well, once again, until the next entry, remember to never give up and push yourselves each and every day.
